Godzilla - Tokyo S.O.S. Overview

Mechagodzilla®, the superior-armed, state-of-the-art, all-robot version of Godzilla®, is undergoing repairs after his devastating battle against the world’s monsters. A pair of psychic fairies appear and warn scientists to stop rebuilding Mechagodzilla® – but their warning goes unheeded. As the great robot nears completion, a series of mysterious incidents rock the world and awaken Godzilla®, who unleashes a reign of terror against Tokyo. Mothra® joins him and Japan’s desperate Prime Minister has no choice but to launch the unfinished Mechagodzilla® against Mothra® and Godzilla®. But who will fight for whom? And in the end -- will the survivor be monster, robot or man?

Mothra will protect Japan from Godzilla. However, if Mecha-Godzilla, Godzilla Mothra does not return to the sea that will bring destruction in Japan. The two aliens ultimatium Mothra lead scientist in a meeting 43 years ago. The race is on for G to defeat Mecha Godzilla and bring them back to sea. Mecha G is 37 percent damaged and not functional. Emergency measures were enacted to Mecha G ready for a final showdown with Godzilla.

This Mechagodzilla have the best special effects for the film Godzilla, which is about time. The monsters do not seem as cheap as dolls or costumes and laser weapons actually look real. By far one of the best Godzilla film. A must for fans of Godzilla, period.




Better than it's predsessor but still not the best - A Customer -
This movie was not bad, I did not mind Godzilla against Mechagodzilla, but it was boring for the most part, except for the last battle, and when Godzilla shows. This improves with more action and adds Mothra. This movie seems like many films we've seen before, especially when Godzilla is wrapped around two baby's web Mothra. We have already seen everything. However, a point not to bad the series, but far from the best.
