Shockwave Review

First, let me just say that the four-star review I gave this film that reflects the B-movies are not only premieres. That said, this is one of the best B-movies I've seen in a while.
The story is nothing special, nor is it as silly and artificial, like many I've seen. A plane full of military robots crashes on a deserted island and an excellent team led military to recover. Also in the mix is a group of thieves, whose helicopter crashed on the island after aHeist (What are the odds ???).
As one critic said, the soldiers spend a lot of time to turn the robot, but to try and redirect their attention away from one of them, before the person is killed or trying to hit a weak point in their small heads. Personally, I find it all boring. The scene only if you really got on my nerves, was in the beginning, when a soldier in the back of a pickup by fire a few shots from fifty continuousGun on the run ... more ... difficult terrain and the robot is at a hundred yards ... and has no idea, this thing has a weak point. I would rather hear screaming like a little girl of five minutes, then continue shooting the weapon stupid. At least that would be fun.
Speaking of fun, as another reviewer said, there is an early scene (at the completion of the robot) is when a woman on the ground, throws like a robotic tentacles he did, butgo near it was followed by another. Priceless. In most of the "Making of" segments that you never really meet the players on the CGI effects that can not be seen here. This is probably why appear mocked
YouTube and the food for the coming months-in-a-half (see now, there are Hugh Jackman pretended he claws on his hands again, hahaha!)
While the story is nothing special and the acting is rather imprecise, the effects are actually a step ahead of mostB-movies in the genre (although a step or two below the big budgets). But all-in-all, the movie was funny, and dealt with robots administration rather extraordinary creatures usually large, and they are not around too often (unless you count ... Transmorphers Eeeewwwww). Thus, if the movie rental or purchase cheap, I would definitely recommend.

Shockwave Overview

When a plane carrying a pair of top secret military robots crashes on a deserted Pacific island, a team of Navy SEALS must go in, find them, and try to "turn them off." But that's not so easy! The Shock Wave robots were originally built as the next generation of Mars Rovers, but were so successfully designed that they were quickly reengineered to replace the Army's infantry as the first wave of attack when trying to control hostile territories and root out terrorists wherever they may be. An armor-plated walking arsenal, each unit is equipped with sophisticated lasers, guidance and weapons systems, advanced locomotion and terrain maneuverability, and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology. The longer they're on, the smarter they get. Now it's up to the specially selected Navy SEA unit armed with the latest military prototype particle canons specifically designed to destroy band-wired robots to contain the threat and salvage any of the technology that they can. But the robots have grown too smart, and they've figured out how to dismantle the guns, leaving our team helpless against this mechanical onslaught. With time quickly running out, this team must figure out how to outwit and deactivate the machines before they become the new dominant species on Earth.
