Horror Movies Customer ReviewsThis is definitely one of the most unusual compilation of sci-fi stories, all revolving around the robot, but touching and emotionally moving. The first story, "My Robot Baby" centers around a pair [Tamlyn Tomita and James Saito] hoping to adopt a child, and the need to prove their competence in caring for a child prenthood robots. The adoptive mother-to-be discovered that there was no 'mom gene' and is emotionally detached from her child robot, until a series of events due to itsreflect more deeply on motherhood.

The second story, "The Robot Fixer" was one of the most touching series ... found a mother cope with her dying child through an unusual channel - to find pieces to complete his collection of toy robots son, hoping that by setting the toys that could 'fix' too.

The third story is called 'Love Machine', and revolves around an office android [played to perfection by director Greg Pak's robot itself] is notcompletely detached, and finds himself attracted to a female android working in offcie building across the street - this episode had a lot of sardonic humor in it.

The last story was the most challenging - aging and dying sculptor finds himself to be burdened with two options, namely his consciousness through preseving digital immortality or die a natural death. The main character is well played by SAB Shimono, whose emotional conflicts are portrayed in a credible andarouses sympathy from the viewer.

All in all, this is a unique collection of stories which, although labeled as sci-fi, more than this, and the stories the viewer emotionally Whilst giving food for thought at the same time. Worth checking out.

Horror Movies Customer ReviewsThe gentlest SF ever - wiredweird - Earth, or somewhere nearby
The title should have another word in it: "Robot love stories." Although much SF premise, it is difficult to call these science fiction stories. The issues are much more humane that the title gives no reason to expect.

The first vignette, "My Robot Baby," is motherly love. Face it, that is not something that comes easily to every woman (or man, for that matter), and there's something to say to make all your mistakes on a robot instead of a human child. The next story, "The RobotFixer, "is about family love again, faced with a terrible family tragedy. This time robots are toys, memories of a loved one when he says that love long after he needed to let go. " Love Machine, "points out that making robots in the image of our mind, we are likely to succeed too well. New underclass that will have much to overcome, especially in pursuing the rewards of their life that were not part of the product specification. Finally "Clay" is still in love robotsanother way, the kind that appears when the distinction between humans and robots completely obscures - or perhaps not so completely, in ways that matter most to sculptor Johnny.

All are stories of exceptional and warm, decorated with extras on this disc. the deleted scenes and alternate endings show other directions that thought it could go. A ten-minute short, "Mouse" also appears among the extras. It stands out from the theme of the robot, and are quite sure what to do.
Such love, stories read and write my highest recommendation. This set deserves a lot more comfortable than what is generally obtained.

Horror Movies Customer ReviewsIs the future of humankind bleak or promising? - Wendy Schroeder - Englewood, Co United States
The first story is about a couple wanting a child and had to prove worthy of caring for a child seeking crude robots. The second story was about a man who was clinically dead and the mother refused to accept it with grace. He needed to find parts for broken toys that kept since childhood. All toys like futuristic robots with their accessories. I think he felt if he could put together he would be "fixed". A little 'as Humpty Dumpty. The third was the funny one, withrobot that looked human and could interact with people. Two of their "love". I thought it was a sweet story ... in a freaky sort of way. The last story is disturbing. It was, by law, become pure consciousness through the computer. I've always found the idea of living forever as my "I" rather repulsive. I think if we live forever I preferred to rest and return to another sentient being. For other ways to live well as a human being. Maybe come back as an animal or another planet.

Horror Movies Customer Reviewsgood indie film - D. V. Martin - Perth. West Australia.
Interesting low-budget science fiction. some touching moments well, dealing with a changing world, choose clay group, does anyone know if the soundtrack was released
