Horror in the Wind Overview

The President of the United States, a religious fanatic, catches wind of a secret formula that suppresses sexual desire and is determined to use it to win the 'War on Sex.' He manages to steal the formula from the creators before they finish testing it, and no one is prepared for what happens next. The President orders airplanes on a secret mission to cover the globe, spraying the secret formula in every nook and cranny covering entire hemispheres. But the plan backfires when the formula doesn't work as promised instead of suppressing sexual desire, it actually reverses it! The straights become gay, the gays become straight, and everyone s lives are surprisingly turned sexually upside down. Unexpected love flourishes, sexual desires rise to the surface, and when an antidote is finally found, you'd think everyone would be first in line to take it...or would they?

"The war of the President in Sex Races Results Queer"

Amos Lassen

I'm still laughing after watching "Horror in the Wind", the new version Ariztical Entertainment. "This is a film that's low, at first, had nothing going for it. The acting is mediocre, the sets are nothing special and the idea seemed to be somewhat 'trivial - however, is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
The President of the United Stateshears about a secret formula that suppresses sexual desire and because he is a die-hard religious fanatic, he decides that is the answer to his problems and will use it to win what he calls "The war on sex." He is able to steal the formula from those that developed before the test is and what happens next is the stuff that all comedies should be made. Has the order of aircraft around the world and spray the formula everywhere. However things do not go as planned andInstead of suppressing the desire, the formula is reversed and straights become gay, and vice versa. The world is suddenly turned upside down sexually. Love takes hold of those who had never considered sex as an outlet and as lust rises to the surface, things go wild. The president falls in love with her help, Karl Rove began to dress in drag and the world is really a mess. Interspersed in the film are the news that will keep you rolling - especially when you read what is written onbottom of the screen. The satire is silly, but strong and the film has some great one-liners as a parody of the way we live today. Written and directed by Max Mitchell, you get some of the best satire I've ever seen.
I will not go more into the plot because I do not want to spoil your fun but I will say that this is a film that does not want to miss. Ignore the bad acting and direction, and forced to put your mind into what is happening. It will be so glad you did - and, one couldnever think of George Bush, Tom Cruise or Liza Minnelli in the same way again.

Horror Movies Customer ReviewsBetter in another movie - Mike Graham - Palestine, TX, USA
The premise of the story is interesting. The acting is stiff and uninspired. The story is told and performed better in the film "Were the World Mine>"

Horror Movies Customer ReviewsCould have been clever, but this comes off too cartoonish and stereotypical. - Bob Lind - Phoenix, AZ United States
Two biogeneticists inept in New Mexico stumble upon a formula that seems to discourage sexual activity among the laboratory mice, offering hope can be used to reduce populations of rats in urban areas. But our country naive religious fanatic of the President at the time, desperate for something to help his approval rating, feel it first, and decides to use the untested formula to reduce sex before marriage young people. He rushes out the formula for the general population, beforeinventors to determine a very serious side effect: it turns out straight, gay, gay and straight. Uh, oh.

I really wanted this movie, imagining a clever satire on the subject, in capable hands, could be both fun and enlightening for many people. Unfortunately, this attempt falls far short of that, and - in my opinion - is notable only in that it exceeds the "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" as the worst gay-themed films of the past decade.

I realize that this is a low-budget films, with inexperienced actors, and I blame for this. However, the whole gives the impression it was shot during a long weekend, with much of the dialogue adlibbed at one extreme cartoon. There's a little 'ongoing relationships with "Fax" (a parody of Fox) News, on the outcome of the chaos of the formula, which was clever the first couple of times it was used, but soon became boring and overdone. The characters became mostly straightFull stereotypes, once had "turned gay", and the subsequent persecution of heterosexuals (now a minority, while the law is introduced to outlaw heterosexual marriage) can be seen as a justification for discrimination against gay people in our real world . At best, the film leaves the viewer with a slightly bent straight homophobe falsely feel as if they were open minded.

Extended DVD extras, including hearings, table reads, commentary and stills. I can not give anymore than two out of five stars.
