Once Bitten Specifications

This is the movie that was supposed to make Jim Carrey a star--in 1985, no less. Perhaps it's no wonder that it took him until the 1990s (and In Living Color): this bloodless vampire comedy almost sank his movie career before it began. Carrey plays an innocent L.A. teen, the unlikely object of the affections of slinky Lauren Hutton, a long-lived vampire who needs the blood of a virgin to stay young. So, she woos the unsuspecting, naive young Valley guy. But most of the jokes fall flat, and only when Carrey cuts loose briefly and lets his wild side show do we get a glimpse of the future Ace Ventura. --Marshall Fine

Once Bitten CustomerReview

Mark (Jim Carrey) is a typical of 18 years, is near completion, when a sweet girlfriend Robin (Karen Kopin has) when looking at the edge of a virgin fuck. One night in Hollywood when he and his two friends, Jamie and Russ (Thomas Balla objectives and Skip Lackey), go in search of fish, you stumble into a bar private sleaze, where a good 200 years Vampiress Countess (Lauren Hutton ), Butler has a name efeminte named Sebastian (Little Clevon) Mark is looking for theyto remain a virgin good for eternity. But when she seduces Mark bite where you do not tan in the sun, turning it into a semi-vampire, longs for blood, frighten children and even dreams of the countess, as it comes to his friends and his girlfriend seems Puzzle .

Teen Sex moderately exciting and fun horror-comedy Jim Carrey, marks the big screen debut in 1985. The film provides some laughs as funny as yet homoerotic shower scene in which Jamie andRuss consider where Marco is bitten, like all freaks that made me laugh is loud and quality is not so bad. It 's really a film about virginity and learning of what can be true love, I recommend this movie for those who "loves Fright Night 1 & 2," Vamp "and" The Lost Boys. "

The DVD offers a beautiful look and widescreen versions with full screen with only one extra, which is the teaser trailer, the movie is still very funny.

François Ozon (Swimming Pool, Under the Sand, 8 Women, Water Drops on Burning Rocks, etc.) is to tell a director with a French style, the stories her whole. He appears in challenging the audience to participate intellectually and emotionally in the stories by which common sink every day on foot. He does not strive for "the big time," or sensational revelations: He is content of a story before us, to encourage us to think instead of our own existence, our life in parallel with those ofhis characters.

"Cinq fois deux (5x2) is a study of a couple meet, fall in love, get married, have a son and a divorce. But the story is told in reverse order, we begin with a meeting with the lawyers to submit Marion ( Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), a successful businesswoman, and Gilles (Stephane Freiss) and also a successful entrepreneur, the newspapers in which their divorce agreement. From this scene we are moving in her life as a married couple with one child, a family that looks perfect, even how to start dinner with a gay brother Christophe Gilles' (Antoine Chappey) and his lover Mathieu (Marc Ruchmann) we see Common errors in parallel relationship. We go back on, the marriage of Marion and Gilles, where the parents of Marion also illustrate both the existence of a semi-sourPages and cards are on the table. And the wedding night sleeping on his bed Gilles and Marion is frustrated in the arms of an unknown American (Jason Tavassoli). The cast is excellent, filmed the seductive love scenes and well, and the transitions are smooth and fascinating retrograde history. The film allows us to consider three types of relationships in detail, and then give us an explanation of why trust is so important for success. Recommended. Grady Harp, March 6

Black Rainbow

Black Rainbow Review

Black Rainbow To say that one of his best films of the director does not sound like a great compliment when a man whose resume includes delayed from Outer Space and not one but two Clive Owen stinker, even if true, speaks. reputation of Mike Hodges' these days is based exclusively on a gangster film made 35 years ago, and the fact that his later efforts, both in clinical work (The Terminal Man), the errors, in order to meet full (Pulp), absolutely terrible (A prayer for theDie), or saw him fired early in production (Damien: Omen II) has done little to discourage the labeling him as a one-hit wonder. True to his luck, WAS released this nice little supernatural thriller almost straight to cable in the United States and rising in a scandal distribution in the UK every building has tried to get copies in video stores (selling it as a virtual catch soft porn, there Believe it or not!) before the film opened play at all.

It's that old chestnut, medium, sees too much - in this case more messages from the dead are not dead yet - and makes his life in danger, but is rarely done well. Starting as a sort of Emily Gantry as Eugene O'Neill (with Jason Robards in his other drunken paterfamilias) wrote, Rosanna Arquette has his best role, and is certainly the challenge. The scenes presented item is a real goose bumps, there are no clean humanizing touches (the Hitman also have a family andcan not be a decent place plane) and the dialogue Hodges' is surprisingly good. But what really is the decay characterization: they are all credible people injured cling to a slim hope they can find, whether religion or to prevent the bottle, take a good look at themselves - as painful a character says: "Perhaps if we did not like the other side there would be paying more attention to troubled here and now.

Black Rainbow Overview

Martha Travis (Rosanna Arquette) is a medium who makes contact with spirits "on the other side" and connects them with their loved ones still alive, in public performances. Trouble begins when she gives a message to Mary Kuron (Linda Pierce) from her husband, Tom (Olek Krupa). But Tom isn't dead... yet. And Martha not only knows he will die, she also knows who killed him. And the murderer knows she knows....

If one does not know about you, the family that are in these films then here is some information about Laurie Strode has two sons, John Strode and Jamie Lloyd Jamie, but a stepmother could go as Laurie Strode in California to have a life. Nobody knows what happened after the fifth Halloween Jamie Lloyd wanted to die in the sixth, but could not be Jamie Lloyd. First, as would be similar to that after six years. They did nothing for Halloween 6 It 's a stupid movie. Now here's the real thing asMichael Myers escapes from prison just goes to California to kill Laurie Strode. That's all I'll say.

Halloween [Blu-ray] Overview

Studio: Starz/sphe Release Date: 10/02/2007 Run time: 91 minutes Rating: R

Halloween [Blu-ray] Specifications

Halloween is as pure and undiluted as its title. In the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois, a teenage baby sitter tries to survive a Halloween night of relentless terror, during which a knife-wielding maniac goes after the town's hormonally charged youths. Director John Carpenter takes this simple situation and orchestrates a superbly mounted symphony of horrors. It's a movie much scarier for its dark spaces and ominous camera movements than for its explicit bloodletting (which is actually minimal). Composed by Carpenter himself, the movie's freaky music sets the tone; and his script (cowritten with Debra Hill) is laced with references to other horror pictures, especially Psycho. The baby sitter is played by Jamie Lee Curtis, the real-life daughter of Psycho victim Janet Leigh; and the obsessed policeman played by Donald Pleasence is named Sam Loomis, after John Gavin's character in Psycho. In the end, though, Halloween stands on its own as an uncannily frightening experience--it's one of those movies that had audiences literally jumping out of their seats and shouting at the screen. ("No! Don't drop that knife!") Produced on a low budget, the picture turned a monster profit, and spawned many sequels, none of which approached the 1978 original. Curtis returned for two more installments: 1981's dismal Halloween II, which picked up the story the day after the unfortunate events, and 1998's occasionally gripping Halloween H20, which proved the former baby sitter was still haunted after 20 years. --Robert Horton

Take Me Naked/A Thousand Pleasures

Take Me Naked/A Thousand Pleasures Review

Take Me Naked/A Thousand Pleasures Overview

It's Another Findlay Frenzy! Yes, Michael and Roberta Findlay -- the outrageous auteurs of the infamous "Flesh" trilogy (The Touch of Her Flesh, The Curse of Her Flesh, The Kiss of Her Flesh) -- continue their bizarre Battle of the Sexes with this utterly deranged, diseased, and degenerate double feature! Peeping out the window of his skid-row room, a Bowery bum becomes obsessed with Elaine, "a living tomb of flesh" who lives in the building next door (played by Roberta Findlay in a rare starring role). But when his sexual fantasies are invaded by "a twisted mental hunchback" (director Michael Findlay of course), the bum snaps, goes into a homicidal rage and, completely bonkers, brings Elaine a carving knife he thinks is a bouquet of flowers.... This maniacally morbid masterpiece is a foaming at-the-mouth mix of art-film lyricism and horror-movie excess as only the Findlays made 'em! Plus, wife-murderer Richard Davis (director Michael Findlay again) picks up deranged hitchhikers Maggie and Jackie, takes them to their house of A Thousand Pleasures, and meets their brain-damaged adopted daughter "Little Baby," a full-grown woman in a diaper. Maggie and Jackie, however, want a real child but, because they're "true lesbians" who "hate the filthy touch of men," decide to turn Davis into their very own sperm bank. Please consult your doctor after viewing. These films are so sick, they might be contagious.

The Seventh Sign

The Seventh Sign Review

The beautiful Demi Moore (parasite, Half Light, MR. BROOKS) plays Abby, a pregnant woman who just might be the key to the apocalypse. A mysterious man (Jurgen Prochnow) enters the life of Abby, giving references to his meaning behind the current catastrophic events. It seems that Abby is on a mission for God, and the baby is more than just a bun in the oven! Michael Biehn (Terminator Aliens, The Abyss) plays Abby's husband confused. If you like thrillers as religiousStigmata, The Omen, the caller, etc., then the seventh character should fit right in. ..

The Seventh Sign Overview

DEMI MOORE ELECTRIFIES AS A YOUNG WOMAN WHO MUST PREVENT HER UNBORN BABY FROM PLAYING AN OMINOUS ROLE IN THE COMING OF THE END OF THE WORLD.

The Seventh Sign Specifications

Seas boil, heavens fall, and Demi Moore takes a candlelit bath in this effective apocalyptic chiller. The prosthetic-enhanced Moore plays a pregnant nonbeliever whose baby may hold the key to impending Armageddon. Logic is not exactly the strong point in this well-acted, stylish, theological grab bag, but the random collection of horrific images manages to work more often than not. An acceptable time waster for fans of The Omen and The Exorcist. Also starring Michael Biehn (The Terminator), the always welcome John Heard in a brief cameo, and the exceptional Jürgen Prochnow as a mysterious stranger who could either be from the extreme North or way, way down South. --Andrew Wright

I had never heard of this series until I saw the store in the corridors DVD. Werewolf as a fan, I brought home to add to my collection. If only these reasons, my collection of rebuilding after divorce, as they are not sure if I still have all the books or DVD in collaboration with and what needs to be replaced ...

80's definently a hanger in the style of the episodes and writing screenplays. And you can see that the style horror-comedy found in Kolchak and is widely used by Buffy the Vampire 'Vampire Slayer series. I would dub a proto-type of Buffy.

It 's a shame that the financial support of the United Kingdom is what causes the train to the series from England to Los Angeles, based in London and with the best episodes of the episodes is to see down, despite some good moments.

Still a good series if you can preload the past hockey Deal. Only trials where you see the 80 are attached, if not the episodes in Los Angeles. Mystic Pizza Recallsme the facts of life and health for the handling of the case as a whole and movies.

From first to last frame, we were almost in a trance. We laughed and laughed scenes of death. The best thing about this film should be the music. I just want to direct movies are horror movies soundtracks. I give this an A + + + for originality and shock.

Hocus Pocus Overview

You're in for a devil of a time when three outlandishly wild witches -- Bette Midler (BEACHES, BIG BUSINESS), Sarah Jessica Parker (HONEYMOON IN VEGAS), and Kathy Najimy (SISTER ACT) -- return from 17th-century Salem after they're accidentally conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters! It's a night full of zany fun and comic chaos once the tricky 300-year-old trio sets out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth -- but first they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat! Loaded with bewitching laughs, HOCUS POCUS is an outrageously wild comedy that's sure to entertain everyone!

Hocus Pocus Specifications

This big, fat theatrical bomb has a lot going for it. There's the three leads, Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, playing three resurrected witches who wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts, 300 hundred years after they were hung. There's music, special effects, and magic. There's a surprisingly horror-filled plot. Whoops, hold up on that last one. It's probably the extremes that this film goes to (displaying a Disney label), such as the witches sucking the life out of a little girl in the first five minutes, that put the brakes on any success for Hocus Pocus. Older children, however, in the 8 and up range should get a kick out of all the weird goings-on. It's a good measure of Halloween thrills and chills. --Keith Simanton

This is a great Halloween parade for children. This is a great family movie that everyone wants to talk! It 's fun, exciting and imaginative.

Why Herman Yau and Anthony Wong are back!
The team responsible for "The Untold Story," are back in the kitchen.
And this time they are cooking the pork dumplings human in South Africa.
The only difference is that the pork sandwiches are filled with the Ebola virus!

More or less the same premise as "The Untold Story"
but without the angle of police investigation, and twice the chaos.
While "The Untold Story" was a scary story credible
Has twice as much depravity "Untold Story"
but are not as viscious.
That was until I discovered that 99% of the cut scenes have been extended scenes Gore. (Similar to Untold Story, the real violence tends to occur over)
I was a bit 'excited to say the least.
You still get to see all the carnage taking place on screen
This is pretty grotesque
tournament participants misunderstand
but the cameraDo not linger nearly as long as expected,
What you see clearly in the scenes.
Each scene was Gore is aa few seconds longer.
In fact,
a scene with an eyeball missing completely chewed.
So in all honesty, you might want to find a different version.
(If there's one thing I'm pretty sure it is not)
Despite the fact that this version is supposed ratings.

Because actors do not speak Chinese, has just been terrible even

Ebola! Ebola! - morgoth - omaha, NE
Anthony Wong plays the bigget a hole in life. He is a murderess, a thief, a great moment Sicko, and generally just really say. The story is actually quite good, but only a very brief summary. Wong is infected with a virus called Ebola Syndrome. Die within 3 days after they are infected. But some people are infected, then get sick, but then again, and be carrying the virus. Wong is a vector, and seems to know everything about this virus. This iswhere the problems start in the film. There are many gaps in the story that I found really funny. For example, after the virus has had for a while 'decides to Wong, the director had all of a sudden start accidentally infect comes into contact. It's so exaggerated that people laugh to help. And waiting until you reach the end. I could not stop laughing seriously. The police are out in suits and ET arms fire whileAnthony Wong spitting blood for all.

So long as you do not expect a great film, just plain fun disgusting, you should enjoy this. There are some really sick things in this film. Gore fans should be happy.

3.5 / 5

The Universe DVD has good picture and good subtitles. And for people who have an uncensored version, I do not know which version is better. All I can say is that the disk universe is exactly 98 minutes long.

Rivals The Untold Story - BUB13 - NM
This film is one of the largest Asian horror films of all time. Anthony Wong is wildy entertaining.

This film is about a man who works in South Africa at a local Asian restaurant. The owner always annoying girl and insulted him, while sales on a journey through the African desert in search of a pig, Anthony Wong's character decides to play with a local tribal women. What she dosent know that with the terrible Ebola Syndrome is infected. He does not findout until after the fact. But fortunately for him, he is immune to this disease. He recovered quickly, but it is still the virus comes into contact with it to spread. Through his urine, saliva, blood, semen, the virus spreads to many people. Once the public of this syndrome, there is an attempt by police to arrest for murder and to stop the spread of the Ebola disease.

This film is very similar to the previous film by "The UntoldStory, "mainly due to the use of the actors themselves and the subject with people for food. An excellent film that should be seen by hardcore fans of Asian cinema!

Two thumbs up.

Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror, The Review

I saw this film at the Philadelphia Gay Film Festival in 2007, now as Q-FEST. Ditto the other reviewer positive comments about the film, is also just as bad is good. A couple sitting behind me actually got up and went and got their money back in the middle of the film, after a tirade of comments non-stop. The film does not claim anything more than a takeoff on horror and typical gender stereotypes gay-camp with some fun references current, a pair of baby shoes cute, andsome hysterical cartoons. Yes, it is important that chewing gum for the brain, but I must say that after seeing some things challenging and difficult, that afternoon, I was a comic relief necessary. It 'been a theater with hundreds of clients and two rollers still growning. And 'one of those movies that is probably the best way to social consideration just for fun. My friend has an outdoor drive-in movie themed parties every summer. It would be perfect. Just wanted to make up forNegative evaluations a bit ', even if available, in many ways seems to be missing the point, which means that it makes no sense, and sometimes it works.

Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror, The Overview

Helen (Mari Marks) and Luella (Georgia Jean) are just another typical God-fearing mother and daughter who happen to bake Mincemeat muffins and run a charming if not a bit faded Bed and Breakfast Inn. Or are they? On the eve of the biggest gay party weekend of the year, and having not made advance reservations, five couples find themselves having to make accommodations far from the city. There's Dom and Alex, the performers (Vinny Markus & Michael Soldier) and Deborah and Gabby, the sophisticated, entrepreneurial lipsticks (Shannon Lee & Denise Heller). There's also Mike and Eric, the upscale guppie power couple (Derek Long & Robert Borzych) and their annoying fag-hag friend, Lizette (Lisa Block-Wieser). Also checking in are Starr and Brenda, the struggling folk singer and tough-talking tomboy (Hilary Schwartz & Allie Rivenbark) and lastly Rodney and Todd, the sugar daddy and personal trainer (Jim Polivka & James Tolins). Run for your life! - T. Van Den Bos - Melbourne, Victoria
The Gay Bed and Breakfast of Horror is the worst movie of all time! Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, which was voted the world's worst film is a blockbuster-A compared to this film. Think of the worst films ever multiply how bad it is for 100 and comes to see how this movie is bad. The plot of this film was weak and the economy even weaker. The screenplay for this film should have been used for the writer on the head and shoulders, lost as a just punishment for what hehas inflicted on the world. In addition to some of the characters seem half naked and this film has nothing who does not love a good horror movie but a movie, ever! I feel sorry for those trying to sell this DVD, but I suggest that there is life money for the film, as will be disappointed.

THE GAY BED AND BREAKFAST OF TERROR - Robert F. Powers - Quincy, Ma USA
This is a star for the title. A group of friends, probably decided Homosexual, a hit slasher film with a cast of characters to make life alternative lifestyles. Nothing wrong with that, the only problem is, they forgot to make a movie. Only a series of scenes about five gay or lesbian couples to stay as a last resort in a dilapidated bed and breakfast, take the lean of a "delay of a mother and her daughter out. Even scanning the whole place has no legs a mutant with razor bladeTeeth, who is the son of his mother, who is the product of mother raped by each delegate to Republican in 1980. Naturally, everything goes, until all that remains is a drag queen and took a lesbian folk singer. Are the new owners of B & B and be as crazy as the mother-daughter duo. And, of course, Manfred, the mutant with no legs is still around as the new owners a couple of gay hairy allowed in town for the conference "Bears.

Believe me, my description ofsounds better than the movie plays and I hope that the filmmakers had a great time making the film because the viewer.

PS It 's a slasher movie called Gay out "Hell Bent", which has a better story, better actors, realistic scenes of death and fun.

If "B & Breakfast.etc" Camp should be, I prefer to go to Camp Crystal Lake and Jason's face as this film ever again.

Grade A garbage - J. Melby -
I saw this movie abortion, and while I did not expect much, I expected more. I saw a lot of slasher films, and generally get an idea for all the characters and their stories, even those who are killed, but this left me cold. The violence was cartoony and decorated. You must have purchased the fake blood for loading tankers. The current Council was in the typical of most low-budget gay film. Some were better than others, but I do not expectsee an Oscar in her future. It was as if the film was one of horror and camp, and could not find the right balance on horseback. The director really should have chosen a clear path and went with her, instead of trying to please everyone. I could see renewed as a true horror movie or a play smart. I must admit, I laughed again and I missed a bit 'back, but that's all. I wish to strongly urge everyone to go with this film back to film school and try again involved.

Teenage Monster

Teenage Monster Review

This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, but then again, I have a distorted sense of humor. The monster's name is Charles and I saw the film, I could not understand a word he said. visits later (it's addictive, right?) I'm beginning to understand what Charles has said clearly.

One night, after having slaughtered a whole herd of cows, his mother asked him what he had to say for themselves. Charles replies: "Sorry." It was the only word funniestI've heard in a movie. Completely ridiculous.

Although this film is not for everyone, if you have a distorted sense of humor, can only be the ticket movies at home for you.

Teenage Monster Overview

A rare fusion of the Old West, gothic horror and science fiction. Rays from a mysterious meteor kill one man and infect his teenage son with a mutating werewolf-like malady. The "Meteor Monster" goes on a murderous killing binge and terrorizes the countryside as the sheriff and townspeople watch in horror. One of the last films of legendary special effects make-up artist, Jack Pierce, who created the original Boris Karloff make-up in "Frankenstein" and "The Mummy."

CHARLES ! - Suedehead - the Midwest USA
This is by far one of the most original and entertaining films of the 50s it was B Sci-Fi. This is so that the only science fiction film unique is that with a mixture of Westerners in it. It 'also unique in the way a "teenage monster" will be presented.
I give this movie three stars, because at $ 10, I think it was worth every penny. I bought this about 3 months after reading a review on it and felt here $ 10 is worth trying, and had taken a good shot! I looked over4 times. It 's fast and gets to the point. The acting is actually not bad and much to see and is more like a game rather than a film. I do not want to give too much, but when you see who is really guilty? Behind every man or woman is a monster teen sneaky!

Faint praise. Very faint praise. - Doghouse King - Omaha, NE United States
Teenage Monster is not a good movie. I bought it as a fan Anne Gwynne, hoping for some campy midnight-movie chills. However, this film is tedious and almost sad in its clumsiness. Where other films can triumph despite the limitations, this is a scenario too poor and ambitious, not enough to be fun.

The liner notes to explain many of the films, the problems, there were reasons why some talented people, cranking out a film of this cruddy. One of its few virtues is good deal of Gwynne (alsohatedhatedhated although the film) as the mother of a monster and Gloria Castillo as a manipulative vixen leading to final fall of the monster.

The monster is unscary, played by a man of 50 years, with his boots to make it appear larger. And most of her dialogue was defined as the grunts and whistles, so it's more like a brutal murderess, think like one being. It would be good, except that sometimes one can speak quite well, because the script hasconvey a point. I could buy the questionable idea that women around him understood his incomprehensible, but the inconsistency grated on me.

These apparent contradictions of the film is the lack of direction and stagnant atmospheric creepy. The sum is a kind of wearing.

Side note, is called Meteor Monster almost everywhere on the net, but goes by his alternate title Teenage Monster on the cover. This is the kind of odd measure, as many people involved with this filmProbably the hope that it remains hidden.

The DVD transfer is excellent. The fans are Teenagers From Space, Robot Monster, Carnival of Souls, Giant From the Unknown, and the cosmic man. They are the best part of the disc.

Daughter of Horror (1955) DVD [Remastered Edition]

Daughter of Horror (1955) DVD [Remastered Edition] Review

You know man, million dollar lottery ads on TV - Ed McMahn doing? Who knew that he used to do funny Horor movies back in 1950? This is by far the strangest Scary Movie I've ever seen. It 's definitely an art film - is not decisive, and the action is said to speak during any of the actors - always. The point is that it is a film about madness, so try to make you feel like you are crazy as well. This makes it very, very scary - but not allgore of modern horror images you see.

Daughter of Horror (1955) DVD [Remastered Edition] Overview

The terror of the past gains nightmarish proportions in the present as director John Parker’s Daughter of Horror relates the story of a young woman teetering on the brink of insanity. Shot entirely in night-darkened apartments and streets to effectively bring out the psychological tension, the film is a true cliffhanger of suspense and escalating dread as it crescendos to a terrifying climax of paranoid guilt and murder. The viewer cannot but identify with the pathetic state of the young woman who finds no escape from a violent past. The eerie atmosphere that pervades throughout this classic vintage horror film is reminiscent of other cinematographic masterpieces by Roman Polanski and Alfred Hitchcock.

The Roger Corman Puerto Rico Trilogy

The Roger Corman Puerto Rico Trilogy Review

The movies were not classics, the acting and scripts are average at best. So why would anyone be interested in these three films filmed 45 years ago? If you want the people involved, whether you're a movie if you recognize the name of the director Roger Corman, then you find that this DVD.

Corman himself did not interact with someone in a comment, there are some interesting background information at the beginning of each film. He has no information about the work, but tells usexactly what he was trying to do, and what he had to go to reach it. It 'nice to hear his views on all three films.

My favorite is the revelation that first thought Corman Allison Hayes (50 foot woman herself) to star in the last woman on earth, but later decided Betsy Jones-Moreland, in a game, making her role, instead of.

The main pleasure here is the last woman on earth. The film itself is a low budget mishmosh. The brilliance of this DVDis the comment of its stars Betsy Jones-Moreland and Anthony Carbone. They are joined by Steve Latshaw and Fred Olen Ray. If you are the "educated," said film to build in things that should not be - tired of listening to the struggles of Moreland and Carbone. All cases were met with impunity. They openly discuss co-star Edward Wain - which is actually the future Oscar-winning screenwriter Robert Towne.

The film is presented in widescreen (likeCreature from the Haunted VAS) and for the first time in many years of Eastman color.

All videos are fun (creature has a comment from Moreland, Coal and Latshaw).

Director-writer Joel M. Rapp left a comment for the third movie, a movie called War BATTLE OF BLOOD Iceland.

Extras include a photo album showing the cards actually turned instead to lobby stills, trailers from 11 movies Corman extra scenes for the movie so much when they were placed on the market addfor television a few years later, and some movie trailers trilogy.

But if any of these titles are familiar to you, or are interested in this age range, this CD at a reasonable price, is a fine evening's entertainment!

The Roger Corman Puerto Rico Trilogy Overview

Three cult classics from the legendary Roger Corman! In 1960, the producer/director set sail for the sunny island of Puerto Rico, where the lush, tropical paradise offered a unique backdrop for three drive-in favorites. Featuring the long-awaited restoration of the rarely seen 35mm color, letterboxed theatrical version of Last Woman on Earth, an apocalyptic drive-in favorite in which two men and one woman skindiving off the coast of Puero Rico surface to discover that an oxygen shortage has wiped out humanity! Featuring a new commentary track with stars Betsy Jones-Moreland and Anthony Carbone, the original 35mm color theatrical trailer and bonus shot-for-TV scenes.

Plus: The original letterboxed theatrical version of Creature from the Haunted Sea, a creature feature chiller in which criminals cashing in on a tropical revolution get more than they bargained for when a monstrous sea menace interferes with their plans. Featuring audio commentary by Jones-Morland and Carbone, additional shot-for-TV scenes directed by Monte Hellman, and the original theatrical trailer.

And: The theatrical version of Battle of Blood Island, a riveting tale of survival in which two American GIs remaining after a Japanese onslaught fight to stay alive and evade the enemy. Featuring audio commentary by Director Joel M. Rapp and shot-for-TV scenes. Additional features include an image gallery and a collection of Roger Corman trailers, including Beast with a Million Eyes, Not of This Earth, Wasp Woman, A Bucket of Blood, Teenage Doll and Attack of the Crab Monsters.

Hosted by Roger Corman!

The Roger Corman Puerto Rico Trilogy Specifications

Producer-director Roger Corman shot three very different low-budget films back to back in Puerto Rico over a period of a few weeks in 1960; ordinarily, this feat would be nothing short of astonishing, but Corman's reputation as a fast and frugal filmmaker was legendary. What is surprising about the three pictures--The Last Woman on Earth, Creature from the Haunted Sea, and Battle on Blood Island--is that they're all entertaining and irreverent pictures (more so the latter in the case of Creature), and possess the independent spark that Corman has brought to all of his productions over the last 40-plus years. Last Woman is an intriguing reworking of The World, the Flesh, and the Devil, with a gangster (Anthony Carbone), his wife (Betsy Jones-Moreland), and his lawyer (Chinatown screenwriter Robert Towne, who appears here under the name Edward Wain) struggling to survive after a mysterious holocaust has left them the apparent last people alive on an island. Creature is the silliest of the trio, a comedic sort-of remake of Beast from Haunted Cave, with Carbone again as a gangster dealing with Cuban soldiers and a monster on a remote island. The picture is most notable for its ludicrous title fiend, but the kitchen-sink humor (very reminiscent of Mad magazine) retains a certain lowbrow charm. Battle for Blood Island (based on a short story by Phillip Roth) is the only film on the disc not directed by Corman; Joel M. Rapp d a moderately tense WWII actioner about a pair of American soldiers pinned down in a cave by the Japanese. Obviously, fans of Corman's oeuvre will receive the biggest thrill from this disc, which offers the best presentation of these films (all long in the public domain) to date--Woman and Creature are both widescreen, with Woman also benefiting from an Eastmancolor print--and the extras, which include introductions by Corman, commentaries by Carbone, Jones-Moreland, and Rapp, a gallery of lobby cards, and a trailer reel for other Corman creature features, including The Little Shop of Horrors and Attack of the Crab Monsters, are the icing on this budget-conscious cake. --Paul Gaita

Silent Hill [UMD for PSP]

Silent Hill [UMD for PSP] Review

First of all, let me just say, I'm fairly new to Silent Hill. I beat Silent Hill 2 and 5 during the year, I tried the fourth most SH &

I recently surprised the movie from beginning to end and it was great! (I had not seen the film when it came out, only about 30 minutes.) Anyway, you do not need a Blu-ray to discover the beauty of this film to appreciate, but you need a home theater really get the feeling! The atmosphere was well done, it felt very similar to gamesRate this movie stayed true to the players and try not to some fans brainless Hollywood, who could not understand probability of winning the movie anyway. I was surprised that this film was actually a good game adaptation! Most imitators failed miserably: Doom, Resident Evil, there were others? I think the reason has been completed, thanks to Christophe Gans, who, if you will note the specific features that you see, is a real fan of Silent Hill. However, this movie can not fool grabssome mind blowing special effects. This is a big budget film. The story is very nicely together, not to be confused too revealing, just perfect. The imagery is dazzling colors, details the environment, everything was perfect in my opinion. The soundtrack has remained faithful to its origins which is great. My only complaint was that Angel was not room in the movie, so bad. No big deal, but this film is still in my class all-time favorite movie. Are you a fan ofgames, but you've probably already seen, but now for those of you who know nothing of games, I think it could really be a fan. This film deserves at least a rent if you are at least a bit 'open-minded and not Gore and limits of action is limited, you will enjoy this movie.

Silent Hill [UMD for PSP] Specifications

A lot of movies can be described as "dripping with atmosphere," but in the case of Silent Hill it's literally true. Faithfully adapted from the Konami video games by French director Christophe Gans and Pulp Fiction cowriter Roger Avary (both self-confessed video game addicts), this dark and grisly horror-fest is nothing if not a triumph of cinematography and production design, consisting of a minimal and mostly incoherent plot propped up by a mysterious maze of sets that literally seep, drip, and ooze with the atmospheric evil of past misdeeds. Welcome to the abandoned and perpetually foggy ghost town of Silent Hill, where grey ash falls like snow, a devastating coal-mine fire still burns in a hellish underground, and demons of various shapes and sizes make your worst nightmares seem like a walk in the park. It's here that distressed mother Rose (played by Pitch Black heroine Radha Mitchell) has taken her daughter Sharon (Jodelle Ferland) in hopes of discovering the source of Sharon's sleepwalking nightmares. What they find instead is a burned-out legacy of unspeakable evil, as Silent Hill's dark secrets are revealed. As opposing denizens of Silent Hill's meta-morphing underworld, Canadian actresses Alice Krige and Deborah Kara Unger seem to be the only ones who recognize this morbid mess as campy comedy; Gans (who established his visual flair with The Brotherhood of the Wolf) and Avary take it far too seriously, and the entire movie is utterly devoid of any emotional hooks or plot logic that would make us care about anything that happens. In crafting a loyal big-screen rendition of Silent Hill and its Playstation sequels, they've forgotten that movies play by a different and more demanding set of rules. As a result, they've made an impressive-looking but ultimately hollow horror film that only Silent Hill game-players can truly appreciate. --Jeff Shannon

Shockwave

Shockwave Review

First, let me just say that the four-star review I gave this film that reflects the B-movies are not only premieres. That said, this is one of the best B-movies I've seen in a while.
The story is nothing special, nor is it as silly and artificial, like many I've seen. A plane full of military robots crashes on a deserted island and an excellent team led military to recover. Also in the mix is a group of thieves, whose helicopter crashed on the island after aHeist (What are the odds ???).
As one critic said, the soldiers spend a lot of time to turn the robot, but to try and redirect their attention away from one of them, before the person is killed or trying to hit a weak point in their small heads. Personally, I find it all boring. The scene only if you really got on my nerves, was in the beginning, when a soldier in the back of a pickup by fire a few shots from fifty continuousGun on the run ... more ... difficult terrain and the robot is at a hundred yards ... and has no idea, this thing has a weak point. I would rather hear screaming like a little girl of five minutes, then continue shooting the weapon stupid. At least that would be fun.
Speaking of fun, as another reviewer said, there is an early scene (at the completion of the robot) is when a woman on the ground, throws like a robotic tentacles he did, butgo near it was followed by another. Priceless. In most of the "Making of" segments that you never really meet the players on the CGI effects that can not be seen here. This is probably why appear mocked
YouTube and the food for the coming months-in-a-half (see now, there are Hugh Jackman pretended he claws on his hands again, hahaha!)
While the story is nothing special and the acting is rather imprecise, the effects are actually a step ahead of mostB-movies in the genre (although a step or two below the big budgets). But all-in-all, the movie was funny, and dealt with robots administration rather extraordinary creatures usually large, and they are not around too often (unless you count ... Transmorphers Eeeewwwww). Thus, if the movie rental or purchase cheap, I would definitely recommend.

Shockwave Overview

When a plane carrying a pair of top secret military robots crashes on a deserted Pacific island, a team of Navy SEALS must go in, find them, and try to "turn them off." But that's not so easy! The Shock Wave robots were originally built as the next generation of Mars Rovers, but were so successfully designed that they were quickly reengineered to replace the Army's infantry as the first wave of attack when trying to control hostile territories and root out terrorists wherever they may be. An armor-plated walking arsenal, each unit is equipped with sophisticated lasers, guidance and weapons systems, advanced locomotion and terrain maneuverability, and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology. The longer they're on, the smarter they get. Now it's up to the specially selected Navy SEA unit armed with the latest military prototype particle canons specifically designed to destroy band-wired robots to contain the threat and salvage any of the technology that they can. But the robots have grown too smart, and they've figured out how to dismantle the guns, leaving our team helpless against this mechanical onslaught. With time quickly running out, this team must figure out how to outwit and deactivate the machines before they become the new dominant species on Earth.

The Hitcher (Widescreen Edition)

The Hitcher (Widescreen Edition) Review

To begin, I am by these idiots, give away the whole plot a tired, instead of reviewing the film. Every movie I checked out, there are at least 5 idiots who always give everything, and even talk about the film (yes, you). So, with that, read on if you're still interested.

This film is classified as a thriller / horror. I would say that is rather a action-adventure/thriller 's. Sure, you'll see blood and gore, but for the most part, this is aEdge-of-your-seat-ride of an action film. If it helps, I would say that this film has more action as a typical action movie. If you've got your typical movie, about two hours of screen time and cut all unnecessary BS jacked full of action, then you have "The Hitcher."

The plot is simple seeems, and unknown actors do not give the best performance, but the film is still great, no matter what. If you are tired of the current situation of horrorgenre films of the last eight years, then you might take pleasure in this film. During the so-called typical thriller / horror film to follow the same, predictable, lame story, this things a bit 'different. Furthermore, production, camera angles and shots are all first class. This is a film that is not painful to watch because it is not correct, shot or the sound was gone. film production was done right. How can other reviewers noted, the complaintsEverything about the story, and film production.

The Bottom Line: Kick-a ** movie you watch again and again, surely a surprise hit for me. I did not expect a new movie to be this good.

NOTE: Additional features are behind the scenes, making of movies and, for those who want it.

----" The true critic "

The Hitcher (Widescreen Edition) Overview

A road trip takes a deadly turn in this terrifying thriller about a young couple (Sophia Bush and Zachary Knighton) tormented by a psychotic hitchhiker (Sean Bean) who forces them to face their fears head-on. The open road becomes a battleground of blood and metal in the race to reveal the chilling truth about this relentless killer. No one knows who he is, what he's after, or how to stop this "truly twisted villain"*. Watch the madness unfold with intense edge-of-your-seat chase sequences drive this sinister film to a deadly ending you won't soon forget!

The Hitcher (Widescreen Edition) Specifications

20 years is a long time in the lifeline of movie plot-arc necessities. It's also a pretty big generational stretch in the lives of audience demographics, which may be part of the reason the producers of this remake of the 1986 cult horror classic felt the need to update the original spare mano-a-mano backbone into a girl-and-mano-a-mano. The Twilight Zone-ish setup is still a pretty neat idea: regular guy on a lonely highway picks up a hitchhiker who turns out to be a psychopathic killer with some very unsettling supernatural might. Fans of the original could hardly hope for a demon villain with such creepy charisma as Rutger Hauer. But Sean Bean makes a respectable replacement, with his understated stare and stewing rage that brings a new brand of hair-raising devilry to the role of hitcher John Ryder. The lone "good guy" originated by a boyish C. Thomas Howell has been upgraded to a lovesick couple. In a twisty touch, Jim (Zachary Knighton, sorta unknown) and Grace (Sophia Bush, of One Tree Hill fame) trade gender roles, with Jim turning wimpy and feminine and Grace becoming a shotgun-toting testoster-ette. The body count's a little higher and the gore factor increased by the power of 20 (years), but some of the original film's set pieces remain much the same-- body-snapping case in point being an 18-wheeler being put to use as a old-fashioned torture rack. While the original might have placed a bit more emphasis on the philosophical and existential elements of evil passing from soul to soul, it wasn't exactly an intellectual thrill ride. Likewise, 2007's The Hitcher is no art film, and it can't be faulted for choosing fright and might for audiences that are always looking for bigger and more elaborate splats for their horror entertainment buck. And if you stick out your thumb for this one, expect plenty of splat. --Ted Fry

Ginger Snaps Review

The first of the Ginger Snaps trilogy, this film is a must for fans lyconthrope. The film takes you by the throat credit start and not give up until the end, how nice, not a final warm and fuzzy happy, but a real movie ends. Painful, but it is official, this film much deeper the werewolf flick out of it portrays.

Ginger Snaps Specifications

Like Carrie before it, Ginger Snaps uses horror-movie conventions as an inspired metaphor for puberty. When beautiful but reclusive goth teenager Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) is attacked by a monstrous wolf on the eve of her first period, her body starts changing in a big way, as do her suddenly lusty, feral appetites. Director John Fawcett masterfully balances the expectations of teen horror exploitation (blood, bodies, sex, smart dialogue, and good old-fashioned monster-movie scares) with clever black humor and tender sisterly solidarity. Only devoted sister Brigitte (gloomy Emily Perkins) knows the truth, and even as Ginger's abrupt transformation threatens their once unbreakable friendship, bonds of blood and love keep them together: Brigitte disposes of Ginger's victims while searching for a cure. Mimi Rogers costars as their dotty but unexpectedly sensitive mom, ready to sacrifice all to protect her daughter. Blood and blood ties have never been more evocative. --Sean Axmaker

Case Closed The Movie - The Time Bombed Skyscraper

Case Closed The Movie - The Time Bombed Skyscraper Review

Most of the "Case Closed" involved in murder mysteries, and some of them with just a lot of theft. But "bombed Detective Conan The Movie - The Skyscraper Time" deals with a very different kind of criminal - a cruel and devious mind of the bombing of the town of Conan. It 'pretty obvious from the outset that bad, but to find the play of cat and mouse and deal with the bomb plot is pretty interesting.

As people have seen the famous television series, was Jimmy Kudoa famous and respected young detective, until an evil villain who force-fed an experimental poison that had fallen to a small child. Loved ones safe, he hides his true identity, is the name Conan Edogawa (after a couple of famous mystery writers), and solves puzzles from the shadows.

After a difficult case to solve and go to a tea party in possession of the major architects Leo Joel, Conan is a problem that he can not solve - Rachel is determined to find a movie with Jimmy(Real name of Conan), for his birthday, and she did not take no for an answer. But then creates a problem much worse when a stranger called Jimmy and asked him to do the bombing, he is in town - is located near the not too bright, young Conan's and the other in a crowded public to find the place.

But then ante is raised when bombs somewhere in the system of commuter trains, and if one of the trains slow down below a certain speed will blow up. Now it's just the teenydetect the small detective crazy behind the attacks, and deep obsession, I am driving ... But he will find out before the attackers have caused the last round of explosions bigger bang? Worse, beat Rachel with her?

The biggest mistake in "Detective Conan The Movie - The Time bombed Skyscraper" is that it is quite evident early in the film, the villain is going to be, if not the precise reasons for and methods. But then, is not the secret of the mysterythe most important part of the plot - is huge on Conan brain is working out where the bombs and how to stop violating people.

So it is basically a series of small pursuits, full of adrenaline, crashes and explosions, Conan and the others try to discover the identity of the bomber planes and through - and getting increasingly tense as the story unfolds. The entire route is a culmination surprisingly quiet affair (with the exception of the declineRubble), but is rather unnerving. The author also carefully mixed the current with a past offense to Jimmy, who seems to be fed malicious bad hit.

The only annoying thing: For some reason they decided to remove all references to Japan. Not only the names are anglicised, but the dialogue is round so it sounds like they shot in America. WHAT?

Jimmy is a likeable hero, and is in good shape in this film - trickHand, intelligent deductions and altruism that drives him to save others from evil attackers. Jerry Jewell Alison and Victor doing a good job as a teenager with double and even first graders Jimmy. And while Rachel has a lot in this film she and Jimmy connection rather sweet romantic part of the peak is no apparent forced. As for Richard, is the usual - he considers himself uncomfortable with the charge to the wrong people.

Instead of stabbings, shootingsor suffocation, "Detective Conan The Movie - The Time bombed Skyscraper" focuses on explosives hidden and hard grudges. This is a fun little thriller anime.

Case Closed The Movie - The Time Bombed Skyscraper Specifications

The Time Bombed Skyscraper (1997) was the first of 10 features based on the long-running series Case Closed. The basic premise remains the same: Jimmy Kudo was a famous detective at 17, but thugs gave him a mysterious pill that somehow turned him into a little boy. He changed his name to Conan Edogawa (from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Japanese mystery writer Ranpo Edogawa) and found a home with his former girlfriend Rachel Moore and her half-witted detective father. Time Bombed Skyscraper pits Conan against a serial arsonist and a bomber who threatens to destroy several buildings and a train line in Tokyo. Are there links between the criminals that would escape the eyes of a less extraordinary detective? Handicapped by his pint-sized body, Conan has to pursue the case as best he can, often using Detective Moore and others as stand-ins. The filmmakers stick very close to the TV program and anyone who enjoys the series will enjoy this feature, and vice versa. (Rated TV PG, suitable for ages 10 and older: minor violence and tobacco use)--Charles Solomon

Salvage/Mortuary [Blu-ray]

Salvage/Mortuary [Blu-ray] Review

Honestly I do not remember how I stumbled on "save" a few years ago, but I may have such low expectations for this low-budget horror film and that helped me love him. This is not a gold mine for Hollywood effects chock full of incredibly beautiful stars say the same stupid lines all previous Gore-Fest. This is a small budget with a cast shot unknown shot in a few places on the sad, cloudy days. No guns, no car chases, not too cool "Yippie-kai-ay, motherf *** ker"Lines. This is not a "passed 14. This is a beautiful girl next door and a homicidal maniac, and their attempt to stop reliving a personal hell. But you for giving decision makers a little room for amateurisms few that appear here and go there. This situation of the girl and several attempts to do to stop the horror, not the seller of posters and T-shirts. If you give a leeway, and you invest in their situation, you will be rewarded with a killerThe surprise for you to cheer for small films with big ideas. Worst case, there is always "Transformers 2" to clear the mental palette later.
