François Ozon (Swimming Pool, Under the Sand, 8 Women, Water Drops on Burning Rocks, etc.) is to tell a director with a French style, the stories her whole. He appears in challenging the audience to participate intellectually and emotionally in the stories by which common sink every day on foot. He does not strive for "the big time," or sensational revelations: He is content of a story before us, to encourage us to think instead of our own existence, our life in parallel with those ofhis characters.
"Cinq fois deux (5x2) is a study of a couple meet, fall in love, get married, have a son and a divorce. But the story is told in reverse order, we begin with a meeting with the lawyers to submit Marion ( Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), a successful businesswoman, and Gilles (Stephane Freiss) and also a successful entrepreneur, the newspapers in which their divorce agreement. Everything seems quiet, but it seems that after the signing of a pair hotel room for a final sexualMeetings, which says a lot about their relationship ended. From this scene we are moving in her life as a married couple with one child, a family that looks perfect, even how to start dinner with a gay brother Christophe Gilles' (Antoine Chappey) and his lover Mathieu (Marc Ruchmann) we see Common errors in parallel relationship. We go back on, the marriage of Marion and Gilles, where the parents of Marion also illustrate both the existence of a semi-sourPages and cards are on the table. And the wedding night sleeping on his bed Gilles and Marion is frustrated in the arms of an unknown American (Jason Tavassoli). Another step back in court these days reveals multiple threads dissidents and, finally, the original meeting the couple in a place where Gilles with his then-girlfriend Valerie (Geraldine Pailhas) suggests that patterns of behavior, the withdrawal is to know the end, because it was the beginningthe film to bring the audience into the realm of understanding.
The cast is excellent, filmed the seductive love scenes and well, and the transitions are smooth and fascinating retrograde history. The film allows us to consider three types of relationships in detail, and then give us an explanation of why trust is so important for success. Recommended. Grady Harp, March 6
