Horror Movies Customer Reviews
I liked this movie for various reasons, made me laugh, made me nervous, and it blew my mind. There is something the characters in this film are real people, but obviously much more precious. So I guess the acting was not so bad.
Has something to say regarding people and the need to belong and feel accepted. This is a about the only thing that makes the story unique and timeless. Other than that a person would be horrified cheeseeffects and sounds of this film, although I liked for this reason. The way this movie is made, it makes you embarrassed about both past and long for those days to return. I can not imagine what would have taken much of a budget. And indludes several familiar faces including Punky Brewster and the child from the Neverending Story.
I would definitely recommend watching this movie once. At the beginning of this film you might not know exactly what to expect so Iruin of me. Maybe a little 'bad at first ... and to the bottom for that matter. But if your boss is not made of concrete than you should get at least a little 'something out of this movie.
very satisfied !! - Kathy Metcalf -
Seen this movie years ago and never heard of again. Looking for old scary movies for Halloween, this movie came to mind. Nobody had heard of. I went to Amazon and not even know the name of the movie, I found and purchased without any problem. I was so excited to see again, and was in great condition.
A Real Taste of the 80's! - Ryan Freer - Fort Worth, TX USA
It 'was at least 17 or 18 years since I first - and last - saw this movie on TV. Even then, it was really a throwback inspiration. What I liked best was 80 was as powerful in every respect. The musical score builds in particular back to a previous period of rich electronic music with analogue synthesizers, and 'Tangerine Dream-like' soundscapes. It 's always a great experience back to the spirit of that time. No other film can do better than low budget as relicsthis, they are almost forgotten.
Fills The Need For Cheeeze!... - Bindy Sue Frønkünschtein - under the rubble
Wes Craven is an interesting director. The same genius behind horror classics as The Hills Have Eyes, Last House on the Left, and A Nightmare on Elm Street, is also responsible for some important additions to the annals of cheeeze. His call-4-TV movie made for hell is an excellent example of the latter. Satan is ugly old to his old tricks, this time in the guise of the beautiful Jessica Jones (Susan Lucci!), Health club owner. Enter a loving family (including Robert Urich,Blade Runner's Joanna Cassidy, and she Punky Brewster-Soliel Moon Frye!) Of unsuspecting suburbanites who are involved in a diabolical plot to make them join the club Steaming Springs health. Just know, Jessica is just trying to imprison their souls! Dad Can (Urich) understand things and save the day before gyms like this start popping up all over our great land? We pray for your success! Look for Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Howling,Piranha, Twilight Zone: The Movie), as head of Daddy, and Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, The Devil's Rejects), as a waiter! Everyone should see this movie once ...
